Maison Fauve - Volata Blouse Paper Pattern
There’s a touch of poetry in the air... The VOLATA blouse charms with its clean, minimal lines, gently softened by the delicate swallow-wing neckline at both the front and back.
Its straight, fluid silhouette is as comfortable as it is refined.
Striking in a solid colour, VOLATA also lets bold prints shine thanks to its simple construction — making it a timeless piece that evolves with the seasons and your inspiration
I made my Volata in Lise Tailor Grace fabric
Sewing level: INTERMEDIATE
Key techniques include: sewing bust darts, finishing curved necklines with a facing, setting in sleeves, and sewing a cuff with a tear-proof sleeve vent.
Sizes: 34 to 52, drafted for a height of 1m 65.
The pattern runs true to size – please refer to the finished garment measurement chart for guidance.
SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED AND SET AT 1 CM.
Supplies: fabric for a 140cm width:
34-38 : 130cm
40-46 : 140 cm
48-52 : 150 cm
-2 buttons approx. 10/12mm
-30cm of fusible interfacing G710.
Fabric suggestions: Choose soft, lightweight fabrics between 70 and 200 g/m2 that press well - this will help with achieving clean, curved neckline finishes.
Ideal options include poplin, crepe, voile, lace, lightweight denim, or chambray, in fibres such as cotton, viscose, linen, Tencel, or even silk.
