Maison Fauve Highland Skirt Paper Pattern
The Highland skirt is a long skirt decorated with 3 flounces. It consists of a straight skirt type skirt on which the flounces are assembled as well as a belt. It closes with an invisible back zip. The flounce pattern being partly on the bias, your skirt will have a nice soft fall which gives it a lively and not very voluminous line. A shortened version with 2 flounces is also possible, less greedy in fabric.
Sewing level : intermediate , the technical points are the assembly of the flounces, with if you wish to perfect the finishes a rolled hem and the assembly of the invisible back zip.
SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED (1 CM).
***ENGLISH TRANSLATED BOOKLET AVAILABLE WITH YOUR SEWING PATTERN***
The pattern fits sizes 34 to 52. The finished garment measurement chart is available in the product photos.
Fabric for a width of 140 cm
3-ruffle version: 34-40: 380 cm, 42-46: 400 cm, 48-52: 440 cm
Version 2 flounces: 34-40: 210 cm, 42-46: 220 cm, 48-52 cm
110 cm of iron-on adhesive
A light to medium weight fabric (80 to 200 g/m2), a beautiful viscose, a light chambray, a fine cotton satin, a cotton fabric, a pretty crepe, a very fine wool, even tulle or silk. The choice of fabric will also determine the drape of your ruffles. I recommend a fabric that is easy to work with an iron. MANDATORY: the fabric must be at least 140 wide
