Sandalette is first and foremost a very simple dress to make: a straight cut, midi length with a slight slit at the front, and no sleeves. Its small notched collar and faux button placket give it a unique look.
You can also opt for the blouse version; its three-quarter sleeves with gathered cuffs and covered buttons give it the appearance of a shirt.
We recommend using fine to medium-weight materials such as
double gauze, fine linen and viscose.
