Crumpette is a blouse (or a dress) with “plastron effect” front and back panels.
A multitude of gathers start from the yokes in the middle front and back as well as at the shoulders.
It is very loose with a slightly rounded underbust line in the front.
The sleeves, directly adjacent to the yokes, are gigantic: long, they are tightened by an elastic band in a drawstring for a ruffled effect while short, they are like a maxi ruffle falling over the shoulders.
