Moulin Rouge July 2022

A night of theatre and dancing sprang to my mind when I first laid eyes on the incredibly flamboyant viscose twill. I think it was the feather and floral imagery….it just needed to be The Moulin Rouge. I used a favouite pattern from UK indie pattern designer Dhurata Davies and went with the Olive skirt. I think it was the “Can Can” frill that inspired me.

Treats inside this month’s box were Charlies Fine Foods raspberry melting moment, a Laughing Pug coffee bag, exquisite French brand Bohin needles, Lipstick pin cushion, and a mini black Raspberry candle from “Place of Haven” on the Mornington peninsula. The box was fished off with sparkly black tissue paper and a feather or two.
